voteLoveland 912 Project is providing this general information so you can get involved in 2010 Election activities. It is our current policy to not endorse a specific candidate, rather we will try to provide information on who is running and results of any vetting activity.

Primary and General Election

October 4, 2010
- Last day to register to vote in General Election

October 12, 2010 - Mail-in ballots sent to people who have requested a mail-in ballot.

October 18 to November 1 - Early Voting at various polling locations.

November 2, 2010 - General Election Day (all registered voters)

Events So Far

Register to vote by Jan 15 to participate in the caucus
If you want to participate in either the Republican or Democratic Party 2010 Election Activities you must be a registered voter and affiliate with either the Republican or Democratic Party.

March 16, 2010 - Precinct Caucus Day (both Republicans and Democrats)

The Caucus - Primary purposes
To elect two Committee people to serve a two-year term as members of the Larimer County Central Committee
To elect Delegates and Alternates to attend County, District, State, and Congressional Assemblies
To conduct a preference poll - Governor and U.S. Senate,and U.S. House 4th District

County Assemblies & Colorado Senate/House District Assemblies

Designation of County Candidates for the following offices: County Commissioner - District 1, Sheriff, Surveyor, Clerk and Recorder, Treasurer, Coroner, and Assessor
Adopt County Party Resolutions
Certify Delegates and Alternates elected at caucus to the remaining higher Assemblies.

March 27, 2010 - Larimer County Assembly - Democratic Party - Ft Collins Marriott

April 3, 2010 - Larimer County Assembly - Republican Party - Hilton Hotel, Ft. Collins

4th Congressional District (CD)Assemblies
Designate District Candidates to the Primary Election Ballot - U.S. House 4th and Colorado University Regent

May 21, 2010 - Democratic 4thCD Assembly, Broomfield Event Center, Broomfield, CO

May 21, 2010 -Republicans 4th CD Assembly, Embassy Suites Hotel, Loveland, CO

State Assemblies
Designation of Statewide Candidates to the Republican Primary Election Ballot: U.S. Senator, Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, CU Regent at-large


May 22, 2009 - Democratic State Assembly - Broomfield Event Center, Broomfield, CO

May 22, 2010 - Republican State Assembly -Budweiser Events Center, The Ranch, Loveland, CO

July 12, 2010 - Last day to register and affilliate for Primary Election
You must be registered and affiliated with the Republican Party to vote in the Republican Primary. You must be registered and affiliated with the Democratic Party to vote in the Democratic Primary.

August 10, 2010 - Primary Election Day (both Republican and Democratic)
mail-in ballots will be mailed out the week of July 19th
