1st Amendment - Freedom of Speech
HR1966 Megan Meier Cyberbullying Prevention Act introduced 4/2/2009. Would make it a felony to offend someone online.

S773 - Sybersecurity Act of 2009 introduced 4/1/2009. Would give President Obama sweeping authority over Internet Service Providers.

2nd Amendment - Right to Keep and Bear Arms
July 22, 2009 - Thune Gun-Rights Amendment defeated (a win for gun control)
HR45 Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009, introduced 1/6/09

Immigration Reform
Over 80 bills presently in committee.  President Obama is committed to passing comprehensive immigration reform this year or early next year.

Environment
S787 Clean Water Restoration Act has been introduced in the Senate on April 2, 2009.  This bill would amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to replace the term "navigable waters" that are subject to such Act with the term "waters of the United States".
